Las Vegas, NV: After the most contentious Democratic Debate yet concluded on Wednesday night, Senator for Massachusetts and nominee Elizabeth Warren was arrested for the murder of former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, another candidate vying for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination.

Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo told the media that his department received numerous calls about a murder occurring live on stage at the Paris Las Vegas Casino, where the Democrat Debate was held on Wednesday night.

“Following protocol, several deputies were dispatched to the casino, and upon watching footage from the debate, concurred with spectators that a murder had taken place,” Sheriff Lombardo told the press early Thursday morning.

“A suspect was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.”

Some pundits believe Bloomberg’s murder on live television may have a negative impact on his campaign. However, a cluster of local supporters standing vigil outside the casino pledged that Bloomberg would still have their vote. In 2018, Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof was elected to the state’s 36th Assembly District despite passing away a month before the election.

Jemima Green, who attended the debate, said she was surprised it was the only murder that took place.

“Amy Klobuchar looked ready to murder Mayor Pete, too. I think Warren kinda stole her thunder.”

Another witness, Andy McBean, thought that even the moderators wanted Bloomberg taken out.

“Chuck Todd blatantly asked Bloomberg if he should exist. If that’s not a threat, I don’t know what is,” said McBean, who wore a gun to the debate in accordance with Nevada’s flexible open carry laws.

Senator Warren was released this morning by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department after the Bloomberg campaign released a statement that revealed the former Mayor was, in fact, still alive.
